FROM THE GROUND UP

Rangoni has been a leader in women’s footwear for over 80 years. Our story began in 1934 when Ugo Rangoni, a young leather sales rep, used his savings to acquire Mimi, a loafer factory that became the first Rangoni shoe factory. Ugo quickly established a reputation for crafting high-quality, handcrafted shoes. Rooted in Florence, a city known for Italian fashion and luxury leather goods, Rangoni became a key producer and exporter of Made in Italy shoes. Ugo’s commitment to quality led to global success, with our shoes gaining popularity among American and international customers.

NEW GENERATION

In 2016, Valentina and Carolina, the daughters of Niccolò and the third generation of the Rangoni family, joined the company. This marked the launch of the Valentina Rangoni brand, designed to appeal to a younger, more international audience.
